So I bought a cheap Shindy (Daytona) damper for my 99 900RR and here are some pics of the installation.

My POS sound like crap when I put on the brake but mine is a completely fu(ked hand bearing... Oh God does it feel and sound like sh!t.. Let's just say it sound like CRACKING NOISES and the front end shutters under hard braking... Oh ya!

Whoa! sorry to dig up the past but I'm just putting together a 99 900RR track bike from an old stunter and I was looking for info on dampers and found this. Makes me smile thinking that back then the bike was only 5 years old!
