Bikes from Japan?
 

ALL: What up all, i'm heading out to Okinawa in March (hopefully, i'll find out in 2 weeks). Any of you been there? I want to pick up a bike mad cheap and TMO it back to the states after my year. Has anyone done this or know anyone who has? I want to register and insure whatever i come home with, and need to know the deal on it, like wiether i can or not. I want an NSR250 very badly, i dont care if i have to save it for track days, it will be mine. Im in the Air Force and I guy I work with bought a R1 in Japan and brought back here to Charleston only to have it stolen in less than 3 months. TMO shipped his bike from Japan, I dont know what he had to all pay to as far as fee or anything though.
