New Air Force uniform
 

I know by now you all know that the AF has been experimenting with a new uniform. Lets see some pics though:

oh my god that is soooo funny. I have seen pictures of those ridiculous uniforms in the Marine Corps Times, and said to myself: "what the hell good are blue and grey tiger stripes?" Does the chair force really need to distinguish themselves that bad? What about para-rescue? Are they going to keep the old BDUs? Thank GOD the Marine Corps was thinking with thier brains when they made us our digital cammies. Can't never find us in those!

Units and operations that require the use of a particular dress will wear uniforms suitable to their mission. IE desert camo in the desert and woodland in the jungle.

I guess the new uniform is just for show, to distinguish the AF from the others services. I dunno, it may be just a waste of money.

gotta love the f'n chair force! they find a way to do nothing good for themselves. I feel bad for the high speed guys (and girls) that have to deal with that.

I know, how about the billions of our tax dollars they're gonna spend on these new uniforms too. And for what? It sure isnt to apear tactical. Unless they had to hide infront of......... well i guess theres nothing those cammies will do for them, besides give us Marines one more thing to pick on the chair force for!!!!!!

to help the less educated.... it is going to be a utility/daily wear uniform. not an operational/deployment one. if it's easier to maintain and more durable i'm all for it.

Well then I'm glad I'm less educated.. That is butt ugly and useless. Leave it to the Chair force to wonder what they can do to be more comfortable while sitting behind their desk. Why don't they just wear their pajamas to work!! Ha ha:jester

In defense of wearing pajamas to work: our digital cammies are soft and cumfy right out of the drier, or any time! When i'm on duty i sleep in them (sleeping post of course). As for tacticality - you'd never see me the minute i stepped into a forest or jungle wearing them! Maybe the Chair Force should get cammies that blend in with desktop computers and fax machines! So when their stateside bases get invaded by the Nazi's they can hide infront of thier workstations!
