Angry Broke *** Cars!!

Anyone else have as bad of luck as me with breaking their cars? My 92 Laser hasn't run since January....My fuel controller got F'ed up and threw it out of tune, destroying a rod bearing which in turn destroyed not only the head but the rod, piston, and the whole freaking block!
Just got it together again to day and ran a logger on it and it had perfect air/fuel, no knock, timing was perfect and it even idled perfect for having some old gas in it. Took it around the block and as we were coming back it made a squeel then died...
Took of the timing cover and the belt was still in tact so that was good, then we turned it over to see if it was getting spark, and to our surprise the belt wasnt turning with the crank!!
Goodbye brand new valves!
I hate my luck with this damn car!!!

Kalamari Kid: Think big - 20G!

Extremezx6: You know what I'm talking about, these cars are possessed...Last year my laser had a brand new block, fully ported and polished head with 3 angle valve job, HKS 264 degree cams, titanium valvesprings/retainers....it still has the ported/clipped 20G, full 3" exhaust, bushcher FMIC and piping, HKS external wastegate setup with extrude honed exhaust and intake manifolds, Ramchargers 3" GM MAF translator, S-AFC II, Eprom computer with 8000RPM rev limit, welded diff, fidenza flywheel, 2900lb clutch, ACT preassure plate, KYB GR-2 shocks with 2'' drop springs, and some other misc. **** i'm forgetting, it had about 400 at the wheels and ran like a crazy ****.

Cruiser Erik: I know it might not be that pretty or reliable, but if you could go for a ride in a well modded AWD DSM thats tuned in, you'd be hooked too

Lets see some pics of your guys broken cars

You should get a GMC Sierra!

Damn trucks are unbreakable! I just drive over curbs at the mall so I don't have to back it out.

Actually, I just had to take it back in for the U-Joints. My ma's '00 Sierra had busted U-Joints too. So if anyone has a 2000+ Sierra or Silverado, beware of those U-Joints. Get 'em checked out.

And save your paperwork cause I think a recall is just around the corner.

I don't like cages.

I live in Ohio, so we (The wife and I) have at least one car.

I only drive it when I absolutely have to, and then I take it easy on it cause I don't want to roll money into something that I don't particularly like.

Yeah, I had a 92 eclipse turbo... It was junk, and the computer always fugged up, causing it to do sporatic crazy sh*t. My friend has one that has over 400hp at the crank, with TT's and sh*t. It's real fast, runnin like 11.03 all day or something... The thing is, even with all the money he's dumped into it he still has stupid problems with it. Good luck, try a DSM forum or something... Personally, I put full coverage on it, give it a month, and push it into a brick wall or a buddies car or something.

I have a 1992 Toyota Pickup lowrider, a 1994 Toyota Supra all modded out, and a 2004 Ford Focus SVT. Pickup is just a fun beater, supra is my baby, and the Focus is for the winter and my girl to drive. Man... I wish I could bike it everyday. Rain doesn't bother me at all. We have winters up here on Cape Cod. Bad ones too. I think its weird, when I go to Florida in December/January it's still like 70 degrees out. All you people from Florida are all bundled up wearing jeans and sweatshirts. Whats the deal with that? Try a winter here, 25 degrees out. Icey roads. Snow everywhere. We get 70 degrees and we jump in the ocean. you Floridians... LOL..JK, it's all good. I own a condo down there, I guess I'm part Floridian?!?!
