Its dumb how people would rather a $5 card that ends up in the trash versus 5 bucks in their hand.

so you don't get flowers either? my family wasn't big on cards growing up so I kinda feel with ya, but sometimes a card and five bucks is nice!!
A card made at home with your own words can be something someone holds dear for ever! but whatever floats .. It's not always all about money , sometimes it's about attitude... My wife and I love getting my parents or siblings gift cards because unless you know exactly what someone wants they won't be happy or will just return it.. hence the card idea with a gift card inside and a little bag with candy or gift stuffers.

I agree, it's so dumb and the card was $6.99, which is also BS, they inflate the price on purpose.

No, she's not into flowers or jewelry either. She prefers ice cream, beer, or dinner, which we do pretty regularly. So we pretty much celebrate Valentine's day frequently.

I love handmade cards from my kids. They don't make them anymore though.

when you only have enough money for food or weed, and you spend it on weed. or when you get lung cancer. cause other than those, i dont see any potential problems.

Happy Valentine's Day, babe.

Do you remember the story of Saint Valentine?
Valentinus was a priest during the Roman Empire. The emperor banned marriage because he felt love weakened his soldiers. Valentinus continued to marry lovers in secret. When Emperor Claudius found out, he ordered him to stop or be sentenced to death. Valentinus refused to stop. While imprisoned, the jailer asked the priest to pray for his daughter who was sick. The jailer brought her in, Valentinus prayed for her, and she became better, which got him Sainthood. He fell in love and maintained contact with the daughter, before his execution, and ended his letters to her, "From your Valentine".
