Those scoots are sick.. How the hell do you gear a scoot to do that ****, and how does it hold up? the engine is basically the swing arm... Either way, sick.... arent they driven by like a 3/4 inch belt, or are they direct shaft? it just amazes me that they last.. I had a ''PUCH" moped back in the day, i tried to table top it, and besides it weighed a ton, that bitch was mangled after like two FAILED attempts..

Im pretty sure theyre belt, most scooters seem to be, and I dont think anyone gears them?
I have developed a mild obsession with the Aerox...I dont think any other scoot will satisfy me

straight murderous pics, props to you and the photographer
for everyone, the Aerox ( and his French clone, the MBK Nitro )
is an Italian-built CVT belt-driven scoot,
means there's a belt, two pulleys and a torque-operated shifter:
engine always revs at the same speed - optimal RPM to get the best power/torque - at any given moment.
you can set the operating RPM of your engine depending on what you intend doing with it, as well as changing the final drivetrain ratio..
hence you can decide whether having a stunt scoot, or a speed one doing 70+mph.

Re: Some kickass scooter pics [Aerox]
Yeah, thats right the aerox is driven by a variamatic with a belt!
The setup of the engine isent as fun as it seems, to set up the clutch and weights optimal for stunt is a pain in the ***!
I have tons of pictures, can put some new pics up later!
The aerox has done its job now btw, im going to sell it and buy myself an crf450 or kfx and build a kickass stunt motard
