Re: Some kickass scooter pics [Aerox]
Some of us drive 50cc, but the most of us is tuning our engines and putting on 70cc ,bigger carb, another clutch and so

nice pics and vids :D
There seems to be some seriously bad info on the aerox100!.
Im british but live in taiwan, over here we have the BWS100 which shares the same 4VP engine, this engine makes around 8bhp and does 60mph and wheelies from the crate, light tuning with a pipe and piston kit doubles this power to around 15bhp easily.
ok a kitted 70 will do similar power, but this is with the stock carb, oil injector tank and 7,000rpm rev limit........oh and 70mph easily and day by day reliability.
unfortunatly us brits and europeans were not told or shown what you could get for this engine and thus we assumed the 50 was better.....its not!.
also another over looked scoot in the west is the CYGNUS, this can be big bored to 300cc+ and reliable too!.
oh and HI!!!!!!!!

But the reason we're not driving the 100cc scooters are because in sweden your allowed to run a 50cc scoot on the streets at the age 15! So the most kids arent allowed by their parrents to buy a 100cc , so they just tune their 50cc scoot
But thanks for the info man

Re: Some kickass scooter pics [Aerox]
same in uk, 50 can be ridden at 16 and at 17 you can ride 125's...... if the youth of britain found out about the cygnus--->300cc, i think yamaha would run out of them!.
yeah the BWS100 engine is restricted badly, 15bhp is damn easy, with 20bhp possible with a malossi piston kit, 4.4mm stroker crank and keihin PE26 carb.
at that point though its highly tuned and a bitch to live with like the italian scoots.

Re: Some kickass scooter pics [Aerox]
straight murderous pics, props to you and the photographer
for everyone, the Aerox ( and his French clone, the MBK Nitro )
is an Italian-built CVT belt-driven scoot,
means there's a belt, two pulleys and a torque-operated shifter:
engine always revs at the same speed - optimal RPM to get the best power/torque - at any given moment.
you can set the operating RPM of your engine depending on what you intend doing with it, as well as changing the final drivetrain ratio..
hence you can decide whether having a stunt scoot, or a speed one doing 70+mph.

when you have your variator and clutch optimized for your engine setup it will both have the best torque and the best topspeed!
