I will use this thread ... if it is ok with StuntLife ... to request pictures of specific items for a stunt riding game.

Stunt Spots (example of where you would want to stunt in game)
Stunt Pieces (your bike may be selected and modelled in 3D for the game)
You (you may also end up in the game... we need characters right?)
Photos of Local PD squad cars for St. Louis, MO Orlando, FL and Houston, TX
Detail Pictures of the highways in those cities, including color of asphault #of lanes on the largest highways and exit ramp structures.

City names will be changed on the 3D models to avoid legal issues as well.

Be as detailed as possible...

Only pictures will be considered with enough detail to reproduce in 3D.
MULTIPLE VIEWS WILL BE REQUIRED FROM SOME BUT NOT ALL OF THESE PREFERRED ANGLES.

*Left Side
*Right Side
*Rear View
*Top

Please be as close to the desired angle as possible as it will help with 3d visualisation.

Company logos and other copy written, registered, trademarked, or legal property will not be transferred to the 3D game model for legal reasons.

By submitting your photos to us you are releasing rights and allowing the Development team to use your images for game creation reasons only.

Please send all image submissions to killinthestreets@gmail.com and please title the e-mail with a description of the image in the title block.

This is the information gathering stage that I am using to generate my primary 3D models, after this I will be integrating rider and player into my game environment and starting the work on physics.

Pictures chosen will be mentioned in the game credits.

Looking for pictures of naked or sf Yammy R1s. You have to submit them to me, I know how to use the search button. You will get a thanks in the game credits for your effort. I'm mainly interested in how the radiator mounts to the frame.

Sony will not release their SDK for free or little companies. The best I can do is make it for the PC and you use your PS3 remote or XBox remote on the PC. I should be hearing back from Microsoft this coming week about weather or not I can get the full Xbox360 SDK to program a full blown game and not just an Xbox Live Indie game.

Trust me I'm trying but for a small guy to get in a corporate controlled world is like trying to push two fat oily people out of a kiddie pool. The just don't want to budge and they are hard to move.

Microsoft has made it easy and free to program for both the XBox and Windows platform with just a simple change of code. To program for the Cell processor will be much more difficult. The Wii is an easier target and I have also applied for a SDK from them as well, but Nintendo is about as hard to get an SDK for as Sony is.

Fingers crossed. Take it slow, PC version first. A joystick or controller of some sort will be needed for pressure sensitive inputs. The game will not work with keyboard.

Back on topic, again here is the current state of the R1. I'm going to work on some of the eye candy before I do the programming (the scary stuff) I'm a 3D designer by trade and the programming is more of an the side thing. I may do the stunt animations last though. They are going to be the most complex. The part I'm working on next week is placing the bike in a test zone and starting the gravity physics and starting to program all of the classes to control the bike.

Exactly what i was asking, What are you using it for... Now you have told me you wanted to put it in as a stoppie bike.. Was that hard to say?

I always look at it half full and i think its pretty cool what you are working on and was even thinking of letting you use the hundreds of pictures i have that may be useful... But if you are doing this you need to be open to negative comments to or its never going to work out with you getting so pissy at every little comment made..

Who knows how I will react from day to day. I am only human. This is a big project and yes I am dedicated to doing it. That alone is a heavy burden. You may see my reactions as pissy, I see them as to the point.

Let me explain the way I'm thinking of developing.
I'm designing the bikes first because they are a known variable.
Next I'm going to do the basic input mapping ... keep your eyes open for a control mapping thread for input from the stunt community.
Then I will be programming the physics... ugh...

Limited demo.

Input from the stunt community.

Then levels and then detail and options or features.

I'm short and to the point because I have tried to talk to so many about this and I am faced with the same scepticisms time after time. It gets old is all. Not trying to be a dick, just trying to get to the end goal.

from reading your posts i have concluded that you are a douchebag and im willing to bet this game will go nowhere and never actually be released. mark the date 3/13 of 2011 and this guy will be a ghost.

That is fine, your entitled to your own opinion. I'm serious and if you don't want to take me seriously that is fine as well. This will be a reality, I'm not just jerking people off and wasting my own time. I spend a week detailing an R6 for one of the models, why would I just do that for no reason?

From reading most of your posts I could come up with the same conclusion.

I'm still looking for pictures. Help me with my research!

I'm happy for the ones already submitted and appreciate all the effort from the people supporting me in quiet. You guys rock and this game will be for you.
