Clean airbox mod tutorial
I know theres probably a million threads for this but I couldnt find one so i made one.
If your going to be stunt riding on any bike the clean airbox mod is essential to protect your motor. If youre motorcycle is 12 oclock and you dont have the clean airbox mod your running the risk of oil getting into your intake, through the throttle body. and hydro locking the motor (Yikes!). This mod is a really simple fix for that, its cheap to do, and im gonna walk you through it.
Items needed:

When you have all of these items youll be able to do this fairly quick and easy.
First locate your airbox.
Second now that you have located your airbox You may need to remove your air box, however it depends on what motorcycle you have. Remove all of the vacuum hoses that are on the air box. Then Locate the hoses that are coming from the motor, put them on your connector tube, and fasten them with a hose clamp. If the hose does not lead to the motor or the air injection solenoid valve it does not need to be connected to the connector tube.
(Ex. of air injection solenoid valve)

Third take the vacuum hose that you bought (or stole), and put it on the connector tube. Take the mini air filter and put it on the end of that vacuum hose (that you bought/stole/got from a creepy guy with a trench coat) and fasten it down with a hose clamp. The hose should be long enough to reach somewhere ideal to mount. Mount the air filter somewhere near the the front of the bike, and above the motor (I always put mine near the triple trees/forks). This will keep oil from going to the mini air filter you just installed.
Fourth take those vacuum plugs and plug up every single hole thats on the airbox.
And its as simple as that. Now you can 12 oclock your bike without having to worry about any oil getting into your motor.
I hope that this helped out. If you want to see a video on how to do it check out the links below.
Note: Doing this to your bike will not provide a power gain/loss and is not necessary if youre not doing wheelies. Cheers🍻

Re: Clean airbox mod tutorial
I sent you a PM in an attempt to get some more help. But in the event that you are no longer active, maybe someone else reading this post can help me out.
I have a 2020 Z650 so all the guides and tutorials are slightly different. I just don't want to attempt this mod without a more similar guide. Anyone able to provide some guidance?
Thanks.
