Lost key to my 954

Lost key to my 954
so i order a new ignition switch and gas cap of ebay and now the fuel pump does not work..i should have taken it to a lock smith but too late now cuz i thought the keys have chips in them or something.. anyway i might have fried the ecu, cuz i let the two bigger wires connect?! did i burn the computer?
because now when i connect all 3 wires turn the key, i can not hear the fuel pump and the bike will not start but turns over and everything..
and how the **** do i get the gas cap off? drilling?

Wait so u got a "new gas cap? and ignition? and the key got stuck fucked up or what?? Check ur fuses for the fuel pump. Check for lose wires and runbbing wires making something short out.

how ever the lights on tach do come on..the rpm gauge does not move tho..

Ok so did u check ur fuses for the fuel pump? sounds like everthing else is coming on so i would start there and if that dosent work start tracking the wires for the fuel pump to see if there cut, or grounding out some where on the frame/metal... also make sure the wires are ok on the back of the key switch?

might be your ignition switch is bad that you ordered, I'm not 100% sure about 954's, but f4i's have a resistor diode inside the ignition
Did you make sure the ignition wires on the new one MATCH the old one? Like a 03-04 600rr ignition has a different amount of wires then a 05-06,

I'm gonna see if i have spark on the plugs..if i don't the ecu is probly fried.. if i do have spark the fuel pump probly went bad but ill do another test on the pump to make sure??!!!!
