F4I Ticking Sound After Pancake/Drop
I was practicing some SS O's when I highsided and the bike fell/pancaked on the right side. As I was rushing towards the bike the bike suddenly just died-turned off on its own-this happened while the rear wheel is off the ground.
Anyways the bike started right up after but started making a loud ticking noise.
I was told to check the 5 bolts that are holding the clutch plates, and they are all OK.
I also believed it could be a Cam Chain Tensioner, so luckily my friend had a spare NEW OEM Cam chain tensioner, so I installed that and it still makes the noise.
Can anyone help me what's wrong with my bike???
Here's how it is sounding right now after i installed the CCT.

Yea that sounds like a rod, I wouldn't rev it at all....take the tank off and check the throttle boddies are on tight, and start getting ready to either take apart the motor or to have to buy another one .sorry bro

This is such a bummer, since I rarely crash, and the time it does it ruins the motor.
Anyways I took it to a few shops but no one can tell the exact problem other than to take it apart and start charging me $
Do you guys think doing a complete overhaul/rebuild on the bike for $600- everything will be like brand new again
or
Buy a used motor for around $400 and just swap it- but this doesn't guarantee me how long it will last since I'm not sure the history of the motor.

Why is when we find something sounding not right, we instantly shut down the motor, only to restart it an see if it went away with magic, then repeat an start revving it to pin point thee EXACT object making it,lol knowing full well it is probably doing more an more damage everytime it runs.

Man i would take the cover off on the right side sound like something came lose in there. i have spun rod bearings on two motors and sounds like pining .. yours sounds like a hallow click like its dense plastic. I wounder if the timing chain guide didnt break and is getting slapped by the chain.
