Re: switchin it over

you have to get the title notarized by the old owner.. it cost $5 to get a notary stamp done.. they will ask why you want to get the title notarized just tell them your doing an out of the state transfer and your meeting up with the guy at night whose buying the bike after they're closed and they will be cool about it

the old owner needs to be there with a valid drivers license to get the title notarized

if the title has a signature in the transfer area on the back and has a notarized stamp on it then its good to go.. just take it to a title place and have it transfered

Re: switchin it over

just checked my title.. its just name and adress.. no phone number.. if he lives close to you id just take a cruise down meet up and have it notarized

Re: switchin it over

Will i be able to do that or will the kid who has the bike now have to go to the previous owners house? cuz the kid who owns it now doesnt have it in his name which is the main problem im trying to get around. I thought maybe by just switching out frames with a new title then i could get it in my name somehow? Cuz i dont know if the kid who has the bike now will go down to the the guy who previously owned it..
