mine doesnt say honda on it either. I just did mine last week but havnt finished welding it so i dont know how it sounds. i cut mine like 3 inches out from the hanger, it took out the one baffle, but there are still the 3 closed together and a block plate.

Mine sounds like a factory tone but really deep, NOT loud or annoying. Just perfect.

So it looks like you did it about an inch past the hanger?

cut a couple inches past the hanger first because around the hanger is where like this mid plate is...

mine is about there....its a bit louder, but quiet enough.....the back half doesn't kill too many dbs anyway

Hi Guys, thanks for this thread... it really helped out. So here's a pic of how long it will be if cutted right in the middle of the H . Don't look at the welding... we didn't have the proper machine and well... let's say it works like a charm hahaha. And regarding sound, it is almost stock, you can't tell the difference but it is a little bit louder.
