anybody used fiberglass??

i'm thinking about using fiberglass to custom fab part of a rear tail section, but i don't have much experience with fiberglass. would it too much of a pain in the ***, and worth it to just pay for a pre-made (i.e. not by me) one piece tail?

but your going to have to make a mold of the custom part you want to make, that can be a pain in the ***. is it a big section?
If you want it to look good, your going to need bodyfiller also and you have no experience or tools, you would be better off buying a tail section.

i got all the tools i should need. i think you're right about making the mold being the toughest part though. that and getting a smooth clean look when its finished and painted.
