+1 besides,u never know if it's gonna fail.I rather have independant brake, knowing I can trust it,and if u brake foot brake or handbrake u can keep riding anyway. on 600 I got single just cuz don't matter it doesn't even need a brake...

look at his avatar..his hb brings his big *** back to 2 wheels from that far back.. we both run the same set up...theres no need dumping all that money into duel caliper b/s....single is a lot cheaper and more sensible.

Re: Hand Brake.

those welds stand a chance to break.... because the cast aluminum used for the bracket.
dual caliper seems all nice and ****, but i love my single caliper hb. never had problems, and i dont expect to... works good for 75 mph ss scrapes on the highway so i dont wanna hear about how it sucks. The guy asked a simple question, got the answer and said thanks.... so if you just wanna rag on the setup that is tried and proven, much like the dual caliper has been too, **** off. Theres no need for it...........

Re: Hand Brake.

i think i will be useing both while i get use to it... use foot brake first then start grabbing HB.. knowing me if i just grabbed all HB from a clutch up i'd go over the front end.. so ima rock the foot brake when i first bring it up then try useing the HB.
