929 Handbrake + 12 Bar Question
929 Handbrake + 12 Bar Question
Just wondering if anyone has built a homemade handbrake for a 929 or is everyone buying them already setup? Doesn't seem to hard, but I'm not sure if it can be done cheaper or not. Also any opinion on who makes the best 929 scrape bars? Let me know whatcha think. Thanks.

Re: 929 Handbrake + 12 Bar Question
I've posted this a few times but here it is again.......
Here was my setup on my old 929..........All you have to do is get a 3/8 NPT pipe tap, and tap the MC then get the 3/8 to 1/4 elbow/adapter etc....cost a total of like 32bucks and worked perfect. I did the same thing on my f4i now too and it works great. PM or hit me up on aim and maybe I can be a bit more help.
Ohh yea btw.....I live in Lincoln Ne...Which is where Speedway motors is located. So i just got all of the parts through them....But here are all the part numbers so you can look up exactly what you need on their website...this is everything you need if I remember right to setup the handbrake (besides a master cylinder).
http://www.speedwaymotors.com/
617-6079 "Aluminum Pipe to AN 90° Flare Adaptor"
617-6157 "Aluminum Pipe Bushing Reducer"
617-2911 "brake fitting"
910-31847 "Stainless Steel Braided Line"
make sure you double check though...
