? For Rear Air Pressure/ wearing of rear tire
I used to rock real low air pressure and it was fine but my tire would wear out all stupid. Everything would wear out on the tire except for half an inch on the right side.
Now i rock 18 lbs and it still wears out on the side, but not as much. Maybe like 2mm.
My question is...what air pressure should i run without the tire wearing out retarded style?

Re: ? For Rear Air Pressure/ wearing of rear tire
its gonna wear out weird anyways.....those tires are meant to run over 30 psi on streetbikes for cornering and track days. I have noticed that more skilled people who rock circles all day, especially the really fast seat standers tires wear even worse. Dan Jackson had a nasty 3/4 lip on the left side of his Dunlop from seat standers to the left!! Good Luck, and if you find a good way to prevent that wear post up, I'm sure a lot of people would like to know.

I also noticed that my metzellers were more weared on the left side when I was constantly practicing circles on 900rr...I like it about 1.5 bars, and 2.5 is normal preassure for street riding...

I don't know exactly but I think 2.5 bars is equal to approx. 35-40 lbs. 2.5-2.7 bars is a normal preassure prescribed by manufacturer, so you do the math, I don't know what is normal preassure in lbs...I guess 35-40
