Go to home depot and get a cabinet hindge that clicks. That way you can flip it up whenever you have to and it won't look all bent or anything.

Lies... i got pulled over the last time i was out because the cop couldnt see my plate... wasnt bent up or nothing was just covered in dirt to the point where you couldnt see any of the numbers.
If you had insurace and registration straight, you would have nothing to worry about.
It saved me when a undercover trooper snuck through traffic and got behind me. I ran because we were going FAST. If my plate was not dirty, his dash-cam would have revealed my identity and I would have been arrested.
Think of the pros and cons for all these devices and make your own mind up.
I have a feeling that you might see this a lot , if you leave yourself open to a clean reflective plate. oh, brake fluid takes the reflective finish off the new"reflective" plates in CT

I bought a undercover flip plate from www.undercoverplate.com. they also have the slide down kind. the flip plate is $99 and the other one is $149 I believe. Check it out: I think they're called the Undercover Plate Online Store. You can hide your plate by pushing a button.
