sit down steering?

sit down steering?
i have only been riding for about a year now but have developed very fast. i'm riding 3rd gear stand ups and shifting my sit-downs from 2nd gear to 4th gear and rocking balance point.
obviously i am still alot more comfortable with sit downs...how in the hell do i steer them? i've heard that tire pressure plays a big factor, i'm running a dunlop qualifier and i really like how it comes up, just takes longer to heat up than a pilot power. do you lean in the oppisite direction?
also, i am currently doing engine brake...not quite foot brake material yet, trying!! (i do cover it tho, it has saved me 2 times )
i kno i'm not hot ****, but i have found what i love and don't plan on stopping any time soon.

if you're at bp then you don't need to shift because you arn't accelerating to maintain the wheel lift....
to steer you need BP. I don't like this on the highway (and you must be if 2-4th gear) so I don't really try to steer while doing any wheelie faster than I can run. just enough to change lanes on the highway.
lean and pull the way you want to go... as soon as the bike turns a little straighten your body up with the frame again. then the opposite to straighten up again

Just practice man, you'll get there.
Start putting a little pressure on your rear brake and dip the bike bike some your slowing down. Or in your case hitting bp.
Remember, as long as you're gaining speed, you are not at bp.
When I first started posting on this site everyone told me 4th gear wheelies will get me killed and they made fun of me, I listened to them, and now I'm very thankful I did. Trust me, slow it down. You are not at the skill level to be going that fast on one wheel, **** will happen.

i'm pretty sure you shouldnt come on here asking for advice then start talkin **** when people tell you that your still a ****** squid. so if you want help shut your ****** mouth and listen. dont sit here like a spode and get all butt hurt when people tell you your wheelies aren't at bp.
actually maybe you should just stick to your tuesdays and thursdays.

Re: sit down steering?
what i've doned was to start clutching the bike up in 1 gear ,try to take it slow do not give a lot of gas.when you do this you'l get to know how much throttle to give.you must do it over and over and bring it up higher and higher.it s going to feel awkward at first but the more you practise it the better you'l get.then you'l have to start using the rear brake.all of this will take time and practise.
