Cr80 pistons work amazing in them.......Put a hole through 1/2" plywood...

my brother was working with a guy in az the dude shows up to work with a patato gun and goes to shoot it and the thing blows up and dude almost lost his hand and his face got all jaked up to. my bro said it was a bloody mess the had to flight for life him to a hospital.

One time when the propellant didn't light I looked inside and hit the sparker to see if I had a spark. Well then the propellant decided to ignite and blew my eyebrows and eyelashes off and some of my hair. I also had a burn face. Not a fun time.

You know... Im not sure if its people that Grow up in big towns... or if people are just stupid or what.. But its a Potato GUN... When is it ever okay to look down a GUNS Barrel? And when you know there is something in there that will fire? And you still look down the barrel? Natural selection You have to love it... Even though sometimes it fails the first few trys.

I use to make this things all the time. Had one the used propane and a reinforced combustion chamber, load the spud turn a valve and fire.

Here's a book that I had that shows how to build one that uses gun powder.http://www.paladin-press.com/product/446/36 Pretty simple and a bit overkill but fun.

Screw AXE cans, febreeze is the king of rockets.
