Thinking about getting a tattoo...have some???

I just turned 18 on the 11th. :YEAH:YEAH As I said, I'm thinking about getting my first tattoo. Not sure what or where I would like to keep it on my arm. I'm thinking more forearm than anything. I'm at the gym four out of seven days of the week and I'm getting into shape. If I got work done now would it change drastically if I toned up a bit? Or does it really matter? Any input on this would be greatly appreciated thanks guys.

Re: Thinking about getting a tattoo...have some???

Thanks for the responses guys. I know its for life and its not going to affect my job status now or in the future. I do have another question though. It is going to be my under left forearm and its going to wrap around a tiny bit. They want $250 for the outline and $150 for full color and shading. Am I being charged to much? It is setup for this [email protected] I just want to make sure I'm not getting ripped. I'm in the process of switching jobs and its going to be tight so if I can save $50-100 I'm down, hehe.

Re: Thinking about getting a tattoo...have some???

I'd be extremely picky with where you put your first tattoo. Keep in mind that it is on you forever. And really make sure what you want is what you want to live with. I got a couple that I wish I could erase. There is a guy in Norwalk, CA who is an awesome tattoo artist...not sure how far you are from there but I'd definatly check them out...it's called Norwalk Tattoo. And like everyone is saying, don't go cheap!!

i got my first tattoo 6 months after my 18th , i love it but i new what i wanted. don't just pick something out of a book unless you find one you like. have them draw it out then stencil it on you. just beware they are ADDICTIVE. hahaha
good luck

owning a machine doesnt make you an artist.

And you get what you pay for (by the looks of your hip)

and thats why you only paid for one
