it's not to make them sit still...it's for just the reason you described....to compensate the artist for more trouble/time....... you'd chargs more for any job (no matter what feild it's in) for any type job that would require more work that a job that would be simpler

Yes I totally agree that some would charge more my tat guy is going to hook me up. I am only paying around $100.00 to get it done. And to answer the statement about the tat changing when I have kids, I am not able to have kids so I don't have to worry about that.
