"some one should send a copy to the local PD becouse stunt riding is illegal" <-- dumbass

Re: How many of you would pirate a stunt vid?

First stuntriding vid I ever saw I downloaded from the internet. I didn't even know what stuntriding was. I still have it on the computer too but I went out and bought Judgement Day... and 2 and 3. Now own 23 and none are pirated. It's not fair to people that put their time and money into that stuff.

I download music but only to see if I want to buy the album.

I'm not a thief

Except the post above yours. If I like their stuff I'll buy the album, if not I'll get rid of it.

ok i am half pirate there are a few things i will not pirate my favorite bands and stuntriding videos because i try to help them suceed!!!

if you support them then they will make more vids/songs and stuntriding/concertswill be alot more fun if you do not then they will cease to exist

Re: How many of you would pirate a stunt vid?

i wouldnt pirate a stunt vid. Sport is growing still and this is how most of these guys are making money. If all there vids get pirated why would they bother to make more, just to lose money. But to each his own i guess

Re: How many of you would pirate a stunt vid?

wow this is an old thread that was brought back.... lol. here's my take on the situations:

it's funny how lots of stunt teams b*itch about "if their stunt dvd got ripped off they'd be pistoff", but the ironic thing is they made the DVD off a ripped off version of Premiere Pro, or Vegas, or AfterEffects, etc. who want's to spend $3,000 worth of editing software when you can download it, and nobody would ever know? ;-)

not to mention, lots of used music illegally, too. and i'm talking about known music artist that are on MTV and ****, not to mention some mp3 download from P2P or MySpace music. i know lots of DVDs that could be called in on using pirated music, and i know most people don't have $15,000 per track in some cases for quality music.

Adobe Encore comes with copyright protection technology, you have to pay for it and it's not that expensive, but people never think about that.

and to anser the question, no i wouldn't rip off a DVD.

im from argentina (nobody wants to ship dvds here)... id definitely download the vid... id really like buying dvds to support guys in the sport...because someday i could be selling a video and i wouldnt like some asshat uploading it to the net for free... but...in the 3rd world...if its free grab it or starve!!!

Re: How many of you would pirate a stunt vid?

If you practice for hours and for years to get the moves that no-one has, then you deserve to be filmed, worshiped and paid good money for your pain

i know fat people who dont walk anywhere and never in the rain, they work in offices and pretend that their lives are all about about comfort, they earn money for doing next to nothing they complain and stuff their faces with food....

i watch the free clips on stunt life from practice and promos but i never want or would own a pirate dvd... never if you do then you are stealing from yourself
