Re: Post up your best supermoto stunt pics...

Thank you.

I'm pleased with this season's progression.

I've only been riding my new machine for four months.

Fuel injection has changed my life.

Actually that is a 2002 Drz 400 S. I was working for a dealership at the time and I bought it used in 2003 and converted it to a supermoto. I was able to enjoy it for a season (04) and then in 05 suzuki put into
production the SM which really pissed me off. (inverted forks).
I will say this" My DRZ was beasted compared to my WRX but that machine is still running strong and I was able to out grow, out stunt that
****** to the point that not having fuel injection was not an option.
I never would have sold the DRZ but it was stunting me.

Re: Post up your best supermoto stunt pics...

Yeah for sure man, fuel injection supermoto is where it's at!! I was actually laughing out loud the first time I got to turn some seat standers on my WR250X, throttle was so smooth compared to my CRF250X, everything was smoother, that f'king bike rocks!
Got 2 people lined up to buy my crf250x, so I'm going to sell it and probably hold my breath for a wr450x

Re: Post up your best supermoto stunt pics...

Cory, what was the handbrake set-up on your DRZ if you don't mind me asking?

Full Throttle lower master for an f4i.

Also from Full Throttle Nissan 18mm upper master.

Steel braided lines (full system).

This system works great for entry level.

Let me explain... Inexpensive now, when I first bought this system from Bill I paid over $400.00. Performance is equal to DRZ capabilities (stock carb). The reason I say this is because I never had to bleed it, worked as expected every time. Down side is that it would not lock the rear tire. Strong and stiff lever, but no power. Not the type of set up you'd feel comfortable turning high chair circles with. However, straight line high chairs all day. Somebody has to be rockin a better system than I had.
So there's advise here except it's only what not to get. (My opinion)

Re: Post up your best supermoto stunt pics...

Would you say that has about the clamping force/quality of the now offered "DRZ Handbrake kit" by Full Throttle? That is the kit I was planning on purchasing for my SM.

Thanks again man.

I had a Full Throttle lower master and now he is offering an adapter, I'm not sure how that changes the equation. The top master he is selling now appears to be the same nissin I had. (18mm?)

Bottom line...

$250.00 The Full Throttle kit is well worth it.
