^^We don't get the CCM's over here across the pond. It's a shame too, as they make some nice stuff. Johnny the only drawbacks I can see are the increased weight over the 400, and it's just bigger overall with old school ergos vs. the newer bikes. Also keep in mind that if the bike is still in DS trim, it will set you back a substantial amount of cash to convert to sm dutys depending on how far you want to take it. You can do the hooligan mod and mount up a set of CBR F3 wheels found on ebay for cheap if you don't mind doing some fab work. Or you can order up some excels and lace them to the stock hubs, or have them done. The wheels and big brake kit is where the money is at though.

my boy has an 05 dr 650. its a pretty bulky bike. runs smooth but is def more of a touring/ trail bike... it doesnt have a lot of suspension travel. i've seem some set up on supermotojunkie.com. take a look over there, they got good info
