Re: crf 450 handbreak????

I've seen a few crf's with the full throtle inc setup. seems to work quite well. and they do make a motard specific one.

also rekluse.com makes handbrakes for CRF's.
I have a rekluse handbrake setup I'll be selling soon,
I'm in the process of getting a new custom handbrake setup made.

if your rear master has the tear drop shaped plastic reservoir piece its just like putting one on a F4i.

p.s. i sell the adapter piece for $30. i guarantee mine against leakage and flexing. they are machined from 6061 T-6 aluminum.

pm me if you are interested.

Re: crf 450 handbreak????

rekluse is ok, you dont have many options for the crf's, the teardrop adapter wont work on the crf's I have a rekluse adaptor I'll probably sell, you have to use a 9mm or 9.5mm clutch master cylinder with it. sportbike handbrakes wont work, they are 12.7mm(1/2") to 15.875mm(5/8"), which gives too much fluid travel, and the lever wont pull in all the way, plus you loose your fluid advantage ratio, so it makes it impossible to stop the rear tire with it.
hold out for a couple weeks, and I'll post up pics of my custom setup once I get it back, its something that's never been done before, should give some killer 1 finger lockup action. I'm hoping they'll make more if mine works, but I dont want to spoil the suprise with no pics, hang tight
