Re: Ryan Moore's Latest 450 Build!!

2 questions:

How much for a pair of those rear sets?

Did you ever have to upgrade your rear spring due to the constant

weight on the rear. I've adjusted my shocks but they eventually wear

down. I'm considering a 6.1 or 6.7 spring. Suggestions/ideas.

Re: Ryan Moore's Latest 450 Build!!

how did I miss this thread. Looks good Ryan.

Can I get some new passenger peg brackets for the KTM without the skeletonizing done to them?? no pegs, just the v shaped brackets but solid?? Every time I lay it down it mangles the brackets since I got my subframe so beefed up! Even from me just standing on them they will bend in towards eachother...

Your new bike looks pimp bro, no more Aprilia?

Thanks as always...

the bending in inwards is due to the frames support because mines is hard as nails..

not bad bro! 'N you?

yea, that's funny cuz your'e probably heavier than me too! I dunno man, I'm pretty hard on stuff tho... I just busted my K6 frame where my FI cage bolts up to the motor mount! LOL I'll take my idle with a side of pancakes!

It folded back and cracked my frame, 3rd crash!!! Gaaabage I tell ya! I'm gonna get the esd pegs for my stock passenger pegs at the very least since they are too slickery as well, but I think I'm going to try to make a subbycage out of the FI cage loop material also since it's trash now. In the meantime, I'm tossing around the idea of sellin the Katoom or I'll be back to just tossin around the Katoom period while the K6 is down, so I would like to be back to two rear pegs at least!!

Lemme know Ryan... I'll need to get a copy of that DVD finally also....

B good Kaiks!

I don't have any without the pockets cut into them, I can't beleive you bent them!!! Mine are rock solid still. You should its not flex in the actuall subframe you mounted them to, there is a reason I used 1 inch .120 wall chromoly tubing on mine, no flex.

Bummer... I'll post up some pics or email them to you if you want...

don't ask me, but I think my subframe is actually TOO stiff??
I even fixed one by welding some of the pockets solid and grinding it back down, and then it bent on the first drifting spill! It's still busted!

They are bending and tearing at the first pocket....
