I really want a CR500 or a CRF450R...but Ive found a YZ450F for pretty cheap and its local...I just wanted to kno what everyones thoughts were? anyone here rock one? I just think it kinda sux they only got 4 gears...

They have the best valve adjustment interval(and engineering) of the bunch. It's rock solid.

7 out of my last 8 bikes have been current yamaha's(5 where yz, plus r6,r1) as long the oil changes where done and air filter done proberly ya carnt beat the yam's

keep clear of the handa's the carnt handle giving then a hard time, there fast and handle well, but there valves dont last. all the dudes i raced with loved the cr's but said there not worth the problems

i dont know if the australian motor is different, but they all seam to have valve problems, one of my mates that i sold my last yz too did 4 sets of valves in one year, all fixed properly maintained better than recommended but sill problems, other than that great bike
