I have to Wr 125 and love it. I also ran it as a motard for a while. By far the best bush bike I've ever owned . I race in an offroad series In British Columbia Canada. The races are borderline trials riding. Very technical . The Wr 125 eats up everything. It's light weight and low center of gravity are it's key points. I won't go back to 4 stroke for a while.

no 2strokes are bad for stunting, unpredictable powerband and not as much engine brake...

I think you dont have skills to stunt with 2-stroke.

I might get a cheapish 250 4 stroke then.. maybe a yamaha TTR250 or a yam WR250F if I can find one cheap enough.... can't find any of the 125 2 stroke that I wanted anyway

The modern 250 4-bangers are really maintenance intensive if you're gonna race enduros on it. You'd be better with a 450, or a 2T. A TTR 250 Open enduro model, or an XR250/400 would be a capable bike for both, and bulleproof

Re: Supermoto stunts husky 125

XRs seem ideal actually, what about a 400? surely the 250 is the same bike just the 400 is bored bigger? so same weight etc?

quite like the white 98 model XR's, look nice and seem ideal, but 250 or 400? quite a few 400's about but not many 250's.

Or a DRZ400? Might as well just a DRZ ? matt how did you find yours? you are about same height as me, they are tall bikes arent they for an off roader.. did you get on okay with it? seen a few about for a little bit over my budget but i can prob stretch to that in a week or two..

Youre right, i **** at stunting. But thats besides the point, stunting a 2 stroke is completely different than stunting a streetbike and since thats what were all trying to do (stunt street bikes) theres not much point busting your *** to do **** on a 2 stroke.

Re: Supermoto stunts husky 125

I'm looking at a DRZ now, found one that looks ideal and at a good price so we'll see. . bit heavier but should teach me a lot about stunting and skills should transfer over to the CBR a bit easier than with a 2 stroke... either way it's just for fun! :YEAH

Still im only "stunting" with 2-stroke for awhile and after that i have enough age to ride with bigger one and thats not gonna be 2 stroke.

i bust my *** to do stuff on a 2 stoke because i can't afford a street bike or motard right now. it just takes more skill.
