I used Dyna-Glass short strand fiberglass filler (to get a good coat over the tank, that **** will not crack) then cut that down to where I got it pretty smooth/even with 40grit (even a small angle grinder with some 40 grit on it cause that **** it like a rock when it sets up) then laid a thin (the less you use the better) coat of Evercoat body filler just to smooth out the top of the dent, 40 grit to cut it down then 80grit to 240grit for the final:YEAH

just dented the tank on my 08 gixxer last night ... still got prep and paint it ..... chipped the **** out of the paint

i want to do a flat, shallow dent on the sv. ive heard the best way is do ddo circles starting on the inside and spiralling out, is that tru. i just really dont want to ruin the tank
