why do pople cut em out ??so itcan go lower im assuming?? and also why do people change the fillercaps?

yes so it can be dented good without pushing out the bottom of the tank causing it to hit the airbox, and people swap gas caps for a few reasons either they broke the stock cap when denting tank, they are tired of having 2 keys 1 for ignition n 1 for tank or just for looks

They cut them out so you can put gas in them easier, if you dont it will take like a couple minutes to fill the dame thing up, it sucks when your in a rush.

Thats good to know....Not only did I go through 12 or so but every time one broke off it sent shards of disc at my face!

I think the trick is to dent the lower part more so you have a nice spot to put your foot for a frogger, I have a nice dent on mine for spreaders but no place for my foot for froggers.
