Just whacked the crap out of it right below the gas cap. From there just work around that 1st dent. I'm serious...you just have to do it. I was PETRIFIED!!!! But it does work.

my second tank dent ever, and DAMN I was scared as hell to dent this one since it was sooo nice and 636 tanks are getting harder to find.

For those who applied some type of body filling material to smooth out there dent. what specifically did you use?

This isn't my first dent so the surface is consistent and smooth, but since I'm painting the bike i want it to do it up nice nice.

I've got two products ...."Rage Xtreme" and "Duraglas". can anyone with experience spare some advice?

Not too bad for my first time bondoing in 13 years?

5 coats of Bondo, 3 light coats of primer, 4 coats of Duplicolor Bedliner Spray. (ignore the plastic nose-cone. It isn't bolted to the tank yet):
