I think we spent about $1200 in gas and toles. Full size truck, trailer, 4 bikes and gear. Chris I would like to reserve 2 spots at your place at this time.

Re: road trip

boys myself and 3 other guys made the trip down last winter and it took us 27 hrs . we had a 2005 f150 pulling a snowmobile trailer with four bikes and full gear. i think we spent around 1000 bones for fuel.
tice ya might want to keep a spot on the floor for me. is it still full price if i pass out on the floor? or is waking up covered in marker and glitter good enough.

Re: road trip

I'd definitely go if you get enough people together. I've also got 3 large enclosed trailers, gmc serria 8.1 liter. the largest trailer is 8' x 20' 6'6" tall inside. i tried to get people to goto bike week from this site for the last two years...... no takers i might know of a couple others that go to. So??

Re: road trip

One other thing to those who have not made that drive b4, 28 hours in a truck is a long fu(kin time! You will not want to be crouded at all so dont cram yourselves in like sardines, and you'll need plenty of Red Bull

Oh yeah, dont forget to bring spare trailer tires with ya
