Sean also known as CSUMD-R.I.P 03/14/04
I know it has been a while since I have posted and this shouldnt be the reason but a friend and a fellow rider has passed this weekend doing what he liked best.. I am from Maryland so some of you might know the infamous 211. Well, that mountain has taken another rider from us. I copied this from another board. His good friend Witold posted this..
On today's ride, on our first run up the mountain, on the first tight turn, csumd/Sean lost control of his bike, hitting the guardrail and dying instantly.
He and I were both hanging back and taking it easy. Out of my peripheral vision, I saw him enter the turn without any problems, immediately loose control, and subsequently lowside into the armco.
I turned around, and ran over to his side. He was not responding. Seconds later, I flagged down some cars. One of the drivers was a paramedic, and another was some kind of military paramedic. It was too late.
We lost a really cool guy today; a 22yo student, and a Marine.
RIP, Sean.
For those of you in Maryland, we are doing a memorial ride..Here is a link if anyone is interested this SUnday!
