New to the posting side of things. I have found a lot of answers to my questions here. So I have a question that I cannot find the answer to I figured since in my google searches this place seemed to have the knowledge I needed. So I signed up posted my long question pictures included. And nothing was not even approved for posting. I was like ok I am not in the click. Then it hit me I bet I am not a fully active member until I post in the new member section. So 24 hours later here I am. My head has been in this F4i. Rewiring the sub-harnesses etc..
Oh, my question is about Off/Run, Starter switch. I am putting a push button near the solenoid was not sure what to do with front harness wires but I think if I just tape and tuck them away it may be fine but was not for sure. The bike came without ignition and also half of the Off/Run, Starter switch was gone including the wires that connect to front harness but it had already been cut anyway. So just really kind of zero'ing out handlebars as much as I can. I also wanted to double check since the Off/Run switch is gone the wires I am tucking away I believe the Black/White Black need to be together.
This bike has these fault codes 18, 9, 12, 13, 14, and 15 that is why there is just a frame, motor and 100 parts in my shop right this second but maybe tonight I will have it cranked up? I just need to figure out where I want to put a kill switch already have a place for on/off switch. Kick, clutch, bank all bypassed.
Back to work.
