CBR F4 overheating
hey guys I just recently bought a ‘00 CBR F4, rides good when it’s cool until it’s warmed up then it starts to overheat. If I shut it off it takes a while for it to start back up. What’s the cause of the problem???

Re: CBR F4 overheating
if 01 + 00 = 01
and ("I") + F4 = F4i
then solution must be 2001 F4i
Seriously though, check for air bubbles trapped inside radiator by warming up bike with radiator cap open (off) to release any pockets of air, then top off the radiator fluid, and close cap. Also, maybe buy new thermostat because it might stuck halfway open which prevents proper amount of radiator fluid to pass through. Finally, check the wires to the radiator fan and make certain they are not cut off, or a blown fan fuse which might be preventing the cooling ?
good luck.
