What's up SL folks? names Nick, I used to post up here quite a bit and ride a 636, but I traded it in to get a car, and have just now been able to get a new bike.

I picked up an 06 f4i, and I like it. It's not as powerful as the 636 but it's got enough for me... other than that I have GOT to get rid of this banana seat.


So I also have 2 questions:
1-What parts and how much money is involved in switching over to the 01-03 tail setup?
2-What is the best cage setup out today? I had FI on my 636 and liked it, mostly due to the looks, but it functioned very well also.

you have to get the whole subframe, tray and tail....

sick innovation cages are the best....

tank you bery much! Yeah, a buddy is trying to talk me into the SI one.. it's reasonably priced too so it's probably on the agenda...

Anybody got all the tail-section jazz for sale? Preferably in black or another color that would look good with blue.

ha! good luck on the tail swap... i very seriously doubt your gonna find a whole subframe/tail/tray on here that someone wants to come off of

I saw 2 subframes on egay.. I'd hate to have to buy new oem, or rely on ebay quality, but I almost didn't buy the bike just b/c of the seat.

That's what I was afraid of.. are the aftermarket tail-sections any good? I saw one up there for like 99 bucks new.

I just can't bring myself to it... every time I look at the bike the banana seat just draws my eye... it's the only downfall in my book.

The only positive to the banana seat that I can find is the fact I can say to girls: "hey baby, want to sit on my banana?"
