What is the stock sprocket size on a 954? (front and rear) I'd look in the book...but it appears that mine has dissapeared... Any help?

the 929 is 43 - 16 i think the 954 is the same not 100% though

Awesome, thanks...so if I'm gunna re-gear for all around ****, I was thinkin' about going 15/49 ...whatta you think? Any opinions? I don't want too drastic of a change at first, I just wanna be able to do both slower ****, and regular stuff fairly easy.

What gear? Do you suggest that? I really have no idea what to do, I'm lost...but I was thinkin that -1 +6 would be good to start out on...any suggestions?

dude -1 +6 on a 954 is gonna be wicked. -1 will be a change, -1 +2 is a MAJOR change. slow down brother, -1 +6 up is gonna be outrageous, especially if your a newbie

Yeah, I know +6 in the back will be a pretty big change...it'll be like learning all over again, I'm kinda excited. And I'm not THAAAT much of a newb...I've been riding it stock gearing for about a year...so...maybe I am a newb...but I might as well just change it before I get even more used to it...kinda know what I mean? I think I just confused myself...

-1 +6 will be a good switch plus you could still do 145+ your going to need to get another chain or just add links only like a one or two , your speedo is going to be off to like 7 - 10 mph ,

How do I get my speedo back on...do I have to take it in for that ****? Yeah, I know I gotta get a new chain for it...this ****'s expencive...but I'll be done for a while after all this stuff.

not to sure , plus your miles rack up alot faster , or you could just unplug it.
