Can i run a 50t and a 55t sprocket

Can i run a 50t rear sprocket and a 55t rear sprocket on the same length of chain?

Currently set up -1/+10 for the lots but still wanna ride on the highway with randoms who aren't down for the parking lot pimpin.

i was hoping i could swap the rear sprocket to a 50t on random days to be -1/+5 so i could ride other places without breaking the chain and swapping it for a shorter chain

lol damnit! 03 GSXR 600

Started learning to stunt because the people I used to rode with were 90mph highway wheelie idiots an I wanted no part in it. New group cruises but I don't wanna stop learning, to fun lol

Just get two chains would be just as simple to swap out. Just use the clip style master link.

Re: Can i run a 50t and a 55t sprocket

Ive always broke master link chains ... I switch my 45t with a 60 all the time ... There both 530 ... So i never had a problem ... Just some insider info with master link issues
.. Do what u want but just keep that in mind

Re: Can i run a 50t and a 55t sprocket

The different between a 50 and a 55 is barely even noticeable. Not worth your time to switch.

really? Im just trying to figure out ways of riding this thing back home 2hrs and theres no way im running it at like 9k rpms hahaha.

But as for the master link, i almost snapped on, lost the stupid clip somewhere on the highway but luckily she stayed together. Thats why i was hoping to find a rear sprocket i could swap in an out when i wanted to switch from having fun to riding in a straight line all boring like and use a riveted master link

It is Bullshit... Stock 16/43 takes 108 Links, 16/50 takes 112 links
there is NO Physical way to even have a chain stretched 4 links worth

I've also had 3 900RR's with +5 sprockets on them and had to get a
new chain on ALL of them...

Yeah. At highway speed it will be like a 600 rpm difference. I had a 56 on my f4i, it was fine for circles and still enough to lose cops on the highway. If you have a 55 now, just stick with it.

Ive lost clips too. Never had the link fall apart, but its scary enough knowing theres no clip on there. When i get a clip style link now, I jb weld the clip to the face.

If the chain was reallllly bad, and the wheel was already all the way back maybe.
