I went +12 on my 636, works straight for the lot and streets. I had a 99 zx9 like 5 yrs ago with 73 tooth rear! it was like +30
I used to mess with the front sprocket, like -1, but I dont think its necessary. Maybe try a 10+ rear sprkt for both bikes?

Have fun, just clutch it to that BP cover the rb and practice getting used to idle and feeling that brake, throttle and balance point. I started off with footdrag clutchups to idle with a huge sprocket, you dont need a pizza sprocket but, footdrag clutchups, I felt were a great way to feel idle and balance point, with the security of your foot being there, anyways not sure where your at riding or whatever, good luck man.
