handbreak setup
yeah i have been reading but theres so much **** out there its mind boggling.
03 f4i - want rear handbrake setup.
stock clipons fine to run brake/clutch on? im thinkin about the 43mm woodcraft clipons if its not. but id prefer to save the $143 for a rainy day.
hows the 06 r1 master? anything better being used yet?

Re: handbreak setup
using the stock clip ones you may have to move your blinker contorls depending on your excet set up.... magura or a brembo master for the handbrake is the bees knees... all yamaha's use brembo masters

Re: handbreak setup
06 r1 master is a 16x18 brembo..that will be great for a HB IMO and i use one for my front brake...eventually you will want to step it up to the LH 13mm magura or brembo...

thats it but it's touchy which can be good or bad same as a brembo the only difference is how close u can get your clutch.......... but thought about magura sometimes too but heard they feel mushy
but brembo FTW

Re: handbreak setup
if you use stock clip-ons your gonna have to remove the turn signal controls....

Re: handbreak setup
im sayin for the f4i, what handbrake are you runnin, cause i have a brembo with a msr clutch an my clip-ons are flipped an there is no way my turn signals are goin back on with makin my handgrip really small

Re: handbreak setup
it doesnt matter what bike theres on it depends on your set up... i have a R6 with 636 clip-ons with a brembo master and a RSC lever (which is the same shape and size as a MSR) and i have the controls on there with no problem

Re: handbreak setup
