03-04 636 compared to 05-06 636
Im a noob, and i want to get a 636 for stunting. I have enough money for either one of these bikes, But someone told me its easier to start out on an 03-04 rather than a 05-06. This is going to be my first stunt bike so I know im gonna drop it and and beat it up, so i don't wanna spend a fortune on a 06, but i was just wondering whats going to be easier for me to learn on?
Thanks guys.. Jordan

If your just starting out i would buy and f4i build like a ****** tank.. But if u have ur mind set on a 636 i would have to say 03-04. with 05-06 front forks and either a A-TOWN cage or Tiger Shark cage...... just my 2cents...

Only true difference is the swingarm, forks, wheels, plastics/misc stuff. The 05-06 actually has LESS power (not much i think 5hp?) than the 03-04. A lot of people just put the 05-06 swingarm, wheels, forks on the 03-04 models an call it a day. Id say go with the 03-04, just for the fact parts are alllll over the place for it.
