yesterday a small group of us went out and hit the streets for a while and i went down pretty good. i was doing a seatstander and tried tried to go over a bridge and there was a dip right before it the only was i can explan=in it is like this .... \___/ so when i went down the first part of the dip my front end dropped and then i must of let off the gas and the i hit the upward part of the dip and it flung my over the bars at about 40mph i landed on my back then the front tire landed of my head pinning it to the ground scary as **** but im ok but i thought i just post pics for all to laugh at cuz im a squid and did some is something i knew i shouldnt do but her are some pics

ya if u were there it was pretty intense i set my wheelie down at the end of the bridge looked back to see my brother bike smashed up against the birdge in the oncoming lane with a bunch of ******** in cars that wouldnt slow down with him wondering around in the middle of the road all dazed hahaha glad ur ok jim i was worried for a min

Damn that sucks. At least your all good. Looks like a vest would have helped out a lot in that crash. Were you not wearing any gloves either or did they just get ate up? Heal up quick man, I bet you are sore as hell.

Ya I had gloves on they just tore through and I have vest on order I was just tight on cash but it priority one now

My ankle still hurts like hell!!! But on a side note bike is fine!! Just broke my shift side foot peg so I'll be ready in a week or so

Hmm what kind of gloves so I know what the avoid when it comes time to buying new ones. I feel ya on the vest. I was waiting on getting the knee/shin guards and I looped the bike. Damn feeler on the peg broke off and stabbed me in the knee. Now I won't ride without them.

I would have to disagree with that. My old A* gloves survived hitting the ground at 60, no rash on my hands at all. Not saying the gloves still looked good or anything but I didn't get any rash on my hands or wrists. I was just glad I didn't loose a finger or something. After that happened I was searching around online and saw quite a few threads(mostly from track guys) who had their pinky broken or ripped off completely. SCREW THAT!

they were just a set of fox mx gloves i kmow there not ment for the street but there more confy in the lot they had no palm protection at all my right hand glove was fine i thing my left hand got pinned with the bike im not sure tho hard to remember
