polish a frame

can you polish a 06 600rr frame?

i believe the bottom half is steel and not aluminum....

if anyone has any info let me know plz

yea it is half and half and scott hey do you know anything about this chrome powder coating have you seen it at all?

I have never seen the chrome powder coat in person but it looks good in pics. If you get anything powder coated make sure to find a good powder coater. I have had nothing but problems from the local places I used. If you want to get your bike painted though let me know. Im slow at work and can get it done in a couple days using all PPG or House of Kolor materials.

my frame, subframe, swing arm, and lips of the wheels on my f4i are polished I know that **** took some time! but you can do it on a RR just takes ALOT OF TIME and patience! Good luck with the bike bro and put up pics when your done so we can all see how it came out!

Chrome Powder Coating turns out real well. Its not as brilliant as real chrome. Its actually more of a polished look.

use aircraft aluminum stripper to get the paint off and then wet sand with 1000grid to 2000grid then use a 4''in angle grinder with buffing wheel adapter with Meguiar's "Hot Rims" Mag & Aluminum Polish
