Rear set ?

Ok. I see the diff companys that sale the rear sets for the 636 and the f4i. My father ownes a machine shop in Kentucky. I am in the process of making me some rear sets for my 636 because I'm tired of breaking and rewelding them back together. If I could make some good quality sets for the 636 and f4i would there be intrest. I plan on a stock look with either factory pegs or makin some round knurled pegs. They will still use your factory break and shifter levers. I have the intrest local but want to see if there is intrest acrostics the states.

Lmk post up.

Re: Rear set ?

Gotta remember with rear sets, most of the cost ends up being purchasing solid chunks of aluminum to machine down..

My friend had some Hohey rearsets copied on a CNC locally, the aluminum chunks alone cost $80 total!

Re: Rear set ?

i have the cost of material down and it will be flat 1/2" aluminum 6061 so the cost will be down under the other guys. i will not have adjustiable ones as of now but i might venture off on to that part next.

Maybe a 2.5 inch fat peg? I'm interested. If you can get a set made and post some pics, I'might pick up a set. I need one to get back to the lot asap.

Re: Rear set ?

but thats the thing it would be pointless for me to buy them from you for ALMOST the same price as the other REPUTABLE companies.....why would i pay the same from a nobody???? now if you were slanging them for 75-90 then yea i would take a chance and get them but sorry to tell you if you charge almost the same as others than you wont get many sales.just my two cents.
