never heard EBC's were junk, but compared to OEM's.... IDK why they are so expensive. I wondered about the cheap wave rotors from Hong Kong on EBAY.... No one ever let me know if they are garbage or not. For $139 shipped...almost tempted. I like the new Kawi rotors and "personally" have not seen them warp or break, but I'm sure someone has...

Watched a documentary about Brembo, and they tested them suckers (Brembo rotors) at nearly 600 km/hr and they glowed bright orange and stayed true. Big money though.

I had EBC rotors on my supermoto and they worked great. I have only used oem on the sportbike though..

ya i was looking at the hong kong ones as well but they look alot like the star probably same material. as for the price you can get them shipped to you for like 60$ and that includes the price of the rotor. for that price i almost want to try one out. hell if it works all summer ill throw it out and get another one. you can go through like 5 of them at the cost of a new stock rotor

EBC is a good name brand, I would go with that or stock, the metal from the knock off rotors are junk.

ebc's work great, star rotors are using cheap steel, thus **** brake power, when i ran mine i had to warm the rotor up to get it to grab good, they warp fast as hell too
