Opinions! over kill or just right?

Alright just got my hohey 4 piston adapter bracket. as you can see it bolts onto my hohey dual caliper bracket and the 4piston will be jumped together with the center 2piston. or i can put it on my stock bracket and just have my foot brake and a 4 piston for my HB. So is it over kill? i mean in the day and age of big rotor kits and 4 piston hand and foot calipers what is overkill.

If you can still do coasters, its not overkill.

Re: Opinions! over kill or just right?

I would think it would be sick and then you could go cheap on a the master cause you'd have all that brake you wouldn't need a brembo or anything just a cheap nonradial clutch master LOL

Re: Opinions! over kill or just right?

why does everyone think that this set up is so "crazy"???It's just a 4piston and a single cali for the HB and a single piston for the FB,and even if the lil calipers are 2piston I still dont see the big deal, when some people are runnin 2 four piston calipers "linked together" for their HB.and FB still operates off one of the 4 piston cali's.I just dont see the "CRAZINESS" with that set up.

Re: Opinions! over kill or just right?

You can definitely have too much brake IMO.. If you have a shitload of power just gonna make it easier to make a mistake and mouse trap at the wrong time

However gotta have enough brake to bring you down from anything, and then some!

Re: Opinions! over kill or just right?

Overkill for sure, a single 4 piston for your handbrake is plenty of power.

it's a bit overwhelming to look at i think ya they are both 2 piston.

Re: Opinions! over kill or just right?

i guess we'll find out. i might not even run it like that. to much effort to get a jumper when everyone has just fine luck with a 4 piston hb setup.
