Radiator cage

Who make good cages ?

I saw that DCP make very nice looking cages, but I dont know nothing about them.

http://damagecontrolproducts.webs.co...ts/show/649174

And I know Atown make them as well, but I can find a photo of this parts,

If you know a good cage let me know,
And any info you have about the 2 I listed will help me.

Re: Radiator cage

Ive had both different rad cages, the DCP is the best one by far!, the dcp boxes the whole rad in, the atown just kinda holds it up at the bottom a bit

even if your tabs are already ripped off, you can just zippy tie your rad into the DCP, but with the atown its a lot harder.

just gotta make sure you make a GOOD design

a shitty design can be worse then no radiator cage, if it supports the radiator in bad spots or whatever, could poke a hole itself

although it's not hard to design one, just make sure you support the radiator in many places!

mine does all it needs to and that is hold up the radiator. it weighs 1lb and only costs 46$. iv had mine on my bike 2 years now and every thing is mint. my buddy has his on his with a clapped out rad with no tabs and its doing just fine.
plus i was not gona spend a whole lot of time coming up with some elaborate design that costs a lot of money. cause i no how stunt riders are if you can use tape and or zip ties they will. LOL

Re: Radiator cage

Here's a pic of mine....

This is for an 04 636, it has 6 mounting holes. I use the 3 that the fan uses and the other 3 that are not used from the factory, although I have heard of people using these mounting points to add a 2nd fan. It held up all season last year.

Re: Radiator cage

I sent DCP a message but didnt get an answer back, are they still making those rad cages ?

And Atwon rad cag, I cant find any good pic of his product, any one have one ?

Maybe in the end I will make one on my own, I see there isnt much selection.

I see alot of you guys use 2 fans, is it really necessary ?

secret weapon will become famous soon enough
Re: Radiator cage

buying a dcp radiator support is like buying insurance for ur radiator... it has saved my radiator from all my stunts as well as a 50mph head on collision with another motorycle.

dcp looks oem facory un like most other peoples designs
