Probably picking up an 04 GSXR 600 tonight to turn into a stuntpiece. I checked with Impaktech and they said they don't have any of the stuntex oil pickups, does anyone know where I can find one?

Unless you're getting a hard to pass up deal, I would highly advise against getting a gsxr stuntbike..."goose 27" that rides with us has an 05 gsxr 600 and it is just not up to the task. The 2 piece subframe is absolute garbage. It will break if you sneeze on it. Just go ahead and buy another subframe, because you will break it if you plan on jumping around on the bike. He won't run a bar on his bike because everytime it hits, the subframe breaks. He has broken subframes at very least 10 times, no lie. Ask him...Also, the motors are fragile and garbage for stunting. Power isn't manageable and they blow up the easiest of all the bikes. Like I said, if you're getting a deal go for it. Just be ready to spend a bunch of money fixing it.

Oh yeah, and don't get an oil pickup. Unless you're going to be doing 12,000 rpm screamers only, you won't need one. If you want one, I guess it wouldn't hurt though. A little extra oil and a $10 bottle of Lucas oil treatment is 1,000 times better than a pickup. It's sticky, and stays on the parts when the bike is tipped up in a wheelie. I'll never run another motor without Lucas. It's magical stuff...Revlimiter coasters for days and days...with no pickup...

Thx for the advice guys. Ya i've heard they are pretty weak, I just like the power they produce. I've always been a suzuki guy, but now that I am slowing down the stunts I think im gonna want something a little more durable. Going to look at an 06 636 tonight

Ya I'm gonna pick it up from him! He's up in riggins, but gonna give him $4,450 cash and he'll trailer it down. Such a clean bike! Not sure when he can come down though, waiting to hear back from him... Now I just gotta figure out what color yellow to paint it

I have an 05 with no pick up I can roll around Idle and 12 it... and I ride interstate wheelies for miles... no problems just run oil at the top of the site glass.

as far as subframe just reinforce it, after I snapped my first one I reiforced mine with diamond plate and u can smash it off the ground and its fine.

my only complaint about it is that you will break the **** outta the upper stay and headlight mounts if you moustrap a few times.
