Put in some wrench time today. Feedback?
Well I was bored today, so I decided to do some stuff I have been meaning to get around to, namely barend mirrors and dual headlights. And since I was getting my creative 'flow' on, I decided to try out a pipe I had laying around that was actually intended for my prelude. It's an RS TYPE brand muffler that I gave like 12 bucks for on Ebay. $4 worth of hardware later and it was on the ol' GS. The sound is amazing compared to my modified stock exhaust, you wouldnt believe the note that comes out of a pipe at 12k rpm when it was designed for use on a car that would never go past 7k. The last pic was snapped when I was just out testing the new headlights, which work far better than stock. Anybody else rockin pipes meant for cars, or am I the only dumbass that would try something like this? What do we think?

yeah unique is what I was going for. I took it for a little cruise and I am actually quite satisfied. It is a much more pleasant note (if not a little loud) than the stock pipe with a bunch of holes drilled in the baffle lol. And yeah I am a redneck . . . there are definitely more zipties than bolts on my bike.

if I had any means of recording video I would post it up. Its definitely unlike anything I have ever heard. I almost did it with a cherry bomb glass pack instead but I figured it would be TOO loud. Loud I like, but only to a certain extent.

Hey its all a matter of personal opinion. I personally dig it because it is unique, and I think it looks gangster. Relocating my rear peg to make room for it was a bitch though . . . .
